Plates showing three types. Glass. The collection contains in all forty-four plates represent-
ing many varying patterns, some of which are shown in subsequent plates. Found in Greek tombs
at Dali (Idalium).

i. Plate. Height i% inch. Diameter 954 inches.

Small distinct base; bottom flat with rounding, and then vertical sides. Material thin;
glass transparent.

2. Plate. Height 1 % inch. Diameter 9^5 inches.

Distinct base; slightly protruding; sides rise abruptly, with flat top and raised rim.

3. Plate. Height 25/g inches. Diameter glxAa inches.

High cylindrical base; flaring sides with distinct rim about the edge.
