Jugs: spheroidal body, corrugated handle, with thumb-piece. Shown at % of true size.
Found in Greek tombs at Dali (Idalium).

i. Jug. Height 23^ inches. Diameter 23/i6 inches.

Flat base, pear-shaped body, tapering neck, rolling mouth, and distinct thumb-piece.

2. Jug. Height 2% inches. Diameter 2% inches.

Similar to No. i, but with more symmetrical body and slimmer cylindrical neck.

3. Jug: aryballos-shaped. Height 6l/i inches. Diameter (body) 5)^ inches, (mouth)
3l/s inches.

Flat bottom, spheroidal body; wide, flat and overhanging mouth ; broad corrugated
handle.

4. Jug. Height 3 s/i inches. Diameter 211Ae inches.

Similar to No. 1, but taller, slimmer, and more delicate. Thin handle.

5. Jug. Height, 4.% inches. Diameter 33/ie inches.

Flat bottom, flattened body, long, cylindrical neck, large heavy mouth.
