heavy stone, showing features of chloritic schist; colored like basalt. The collection contains fif-
teen examples of various sizes.

7. Patera. Height 1/% inch. Diameter 5 j4 inches.

Base is distinct, with concave bottom. Interior is shallow, with a low lip. Material like
foregoing.

8. Patera, with three legs. Height 2,% inches. Diameter 5^ inches.

Bottom round; interior curved; lips flat. Each leg is ornamented with transverse and
diagonal lines making eight triangles, each containing a circle and dot. The collection contains
ten examples of this shape, decorated or plain, of various sizes.

9. Patera, with three legs. Height 4% inches. Diameter 9)4 inches. Shown one-third
of real size.

Similar to foregoing, but entirely plain and very heavy. Made of stone like Nos. 6 and 7.
