PLA TE CXX1X. CONTINUED.

i. ne. a. te. ro. wo. o. . . .

2. ka. to. ti. (or si?) o. - ?. . . .

3. to. i. pa. -?-?.. .

Too fragmentary to attempt reading throughout. In the second line ™ 5i<S[i] seems recognizable ;
and in the third line ™ nao-eo^vt] has been suggested, as an equivalent of Kxr;Vio; as an epithet of
Zeus. The inscription is evidently dedicatory or votive; and while conjectures may be made for
the other portions, nothing certain can be arrived at.

nola, Cyprus, Plate 4, No. 16.
