Golgoi. Characters i/s to y2 inch high. One line.

The rendering of Dr. Otto Hoffman (Die griechischen Dialekte, Band I, p. 78) seems the best
hitherto of this difficult inscription :

"Of Timos the [son] of Antiphatos, I honor Paphia at least with gifts of honor."

Where some of the characters are Cypriote.

Cypriote portion: two fragmentary lines. Characters 1 to 2 inches high; plain, except where they

are broken away.

oemiay i.e., " Of Themias."

Cypriote portion: 3 lines, each Sl/2 inches long, broken off at the ends. Characters i/A to 1 l/4
inch high.
