SUPPLEMENT: CYPRIOTE INSCRIPTIONS.

eral di Cesnola's manuscript note-books, already mentioned, and the copies in Schmidt's Samm-
lung, attributed to Birch and Brandes, respectively.

i. h. te. mu. (or, ro., or ra.) ro. se. o. te? to.
2. se. le.pa. ta (or, ko?) ia (or, ii., or a?) e (or, nef)
The third character in the first line presents difficulty; the last two in the same line also,
with the further doubt whether the two are not one character. In the second line the last is very
doubtful, and might, considering all the possibilities, be pa., na., re., ox pi.

Uncertain whether the lines are fragmentary, and too incomplete to render.
Published from the original by Cesnola, Cyprus, Plate 3, No. 11, and Hall, ubi supra, XI,
p. 231.
