Watermark : ‘ jug ’ (Ha.10). Hausmann says that Diirer generally used this paper
for his engravings after his return from the Netherlands, and may have commenced
using it in 1520.
Drawing: pen-and-ink drawing, in reverse, formerly in the Heseltine, now in the
Oppenheimer collection, London. Not in L. (Pl. 10 in “ Original Drawings,
