Gift of H. P. Kidder, 1880.
Clay light red (pink). In the form of the head and shoulders of a monkey
(no arms) alabastron mouth on top of head. Decoration in thin, lustrous brown
glaze with added red; shoulders marked with fine short vertical strokes; head
stippled with fine dots, eyes incised and outlined in glaze, mouth and ears plas-
tic, the inside of the ears red.

Heavy walls of red clay. Flat bottom and flat lip, about equal in size; sides
convex.

Clay brown to black, occasional particles of mica. Flattened sphere, flat
lip around the opening.

Clay red. Flattened sphere, cut off for flat bottom and top of equal size;
two horizontally attached loop handles of which one is missing.

Clay red, with brick-red slip. Bowl with flat bottom and nearly straight sides;
one horizontally attached handle now missing, and knob opposite it on the lip.
Outside, one white horizontal line; inside near the edge, a white line between
two purple lines.

Clay red, with brick-red slip. Flattened body, neck with ridges, trefoil mouth
with round handle to body.
