2. An excerpt of the letters of Hier. Xaverius, 1598, and P. Emanuelis Pigneiri, 1599, ,,De Missione ad
Regnum Magni Mogor. 3. The famous letters of P. Francisc. Pasio and Petro Gomez to Claudius Aqua-
viva relating to Japan and on the death of the king Taicosama (pp. 85—132).
