From 1938 he studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, in the years 1945-1947 - under the
supervision of Hanna Rudzka-Cybisowa (dipioma in 1955). He was a member of the Cracow
Group. He directed the studio of drawing at the Facuity of Painting of the Cracovian Academy.
