In the years 1936-1939 he studied in the School of Drawing and Painting in Eodz under Szymon
Andrzejewski and at the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts under Wilhelm von Kaltenbach. During
World War 11 he was imprisoned in Dortmund. He was connected with the artistic milieu of Eodz.
His compositions, often executed hyper-realistically, are sometimes citations from old masters
(e.g. Leonardo da Vinci) or from surrealists.
