From 1962 to 1968 he studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (diploma under Waclaw
Taranczewski). He has worked at the Academy since 1969.
A painter and graphic artist. White practising painting, graphic art and drawing, he often mixes
these genres and creates cycles. He considers light to be of particular importance, making it play
the role of a symbolic and ambiguous element in his compositions.
