Marian WOJCIAK SK
Lvov 1912 - Wrodaw 1967
]n the years 1932-1939 he studied art history at the Jan Kazimierz University in Lvov, and draw-
ing and painting at the department ied by Zygmunt Radnicki at the Facuity of Humanities of that
University. From 1938 to 1940 he worked as an assistant in the Lubomirski Museum in Lvov,
white from 1940 to 1941 - at the National Gattery of the City of Lvov. From 1948 he was
connected with the Wrodaw artistic mitieu; over the period 1948-1961 he worked as a curator of
the Department of Painting and Print Room of the Sitesian Museum in Wrodaw. Next, he tectured
in the State Cottege of Ptastic Arts there, heading the chair of art history.
A painter, graphic artist, scutptor, and drawer who created retief compositions which utitized the
materiat and its texture.

Sosnowiec 1920
In the period 1945-1950 he attended the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (diptoma under Zbigniew
Pronaszko in 1953). A teacher at the Cracovian Academy, a member of the Group "Leliwa".
He practises easel painting (focusing on the subject of nature and musical associations), wall-
painting and mosaic; he occupied himself also with restoration of paintings.
