IGNAZ MOSCFIELES. Autograph musical manuscript
signed, dated March i, 1831. One page. Folio oblong.
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART. Autograph musi-
cal manuscript. Sonata in A for piano-forte,
last page of “Rondo alla Turca.” 4to oblong.
Theonlyleafexistingof Mozart’ s most
populär composition for piano-forte, the re-
mainder of the manuscript being lost. From the collection of Mozart’s
publisher, A. Andre, who states that this manuscript is genuine.
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART. Autograph
musical manuscript. The beginning of a variant Version of the
duettino of Susanna and Cherubino (2 n d act
of “Le nozze di Figaro”) "Aprite presto!” and a sketch
for the aria of Susanna (no. 27: “Deh vieni non tardar!”),
worldfamed as “Gart enarie”.
A manuscript of such importance containing first sketches
for two of the greatest arias of Mozart has never been offered
before. It was only possible by the chance of my buying some
Mozart manuscripts in the recent dispersal of the remainder of the
Mozart collection of Mozart’s publisher Andre. The almost complete
collection formerly in Andre’s possession is now in the Preussische
Staatsbibliothe of Berlin.
