This official document, the custom tariff for Siena, offers a most
interesting opportunity to the student of the history of Economics and
Commerce for studying prices and values of all kinds of merchandise
in the sixteenth Century in one of the most important metropolises of
this period. An added leaf contains the bridge-toll in manuscript.
