A PYRAMID.
Fig. 8 forms a pyramidal roof, such as is common to
towers or buildings of an humbler character, such as barns,
dove-cots, &c. When two figures like Fig. 7, are com-
bined with this, as shown by the dotted lines, we have a
gable like Fig. 5 ; and when two half-gables are also com-
bined with these, the whole together make in solid contents
an entire cube. In plan, this figure would be thus ex-
