Editio Princeps. — The complete set in excellent condi-
tio n. One of the greatest works of early typography and the most important pro-
duction of the Aldine press, with which Aldus inaugurated his series of the Greek
classics.
Vol. III contains the duplicate leaf (PP) and the 8 extra leaves at end, and vol. IV
has the first leaf (sig. +) which is missing in many copies (cf. G. W. II, col. 559). In
addition, our copy includes all the blank leaves. With MS. note ,,Coll. Bonon, Soc.
Jesu“ on titles and the inscription „Aristo Graeco tom. etc.“ on the lower edges of
vol. 1—3 and 5.

Der schön gepreßte Schweinslederband zeigt in den inneren Rahmungen Medaillons,
in der äußeren: Cruclfixus — Verkündigung — Taufe — Auferstehung, 240 : 22 mm.
