TENDER NOTICE

Government Cinchona Plantations
Tend era are invited for the trans-
port of Foodstuff ( Rice, Alta etc.),
Cinchona Hark and other stores between
the following place during 11)52-53
beginning April, 1952. The rates quoted
must be separately for each bit and be
inclusive of all charges e. g. charges
lor loading, unloading, and even trans-
porting over slips, if and when necessary.

1. (a) Cinchona Bark—2000 mds. approx.

1. Kongo to Kumani

2. Cairibas to Kumani

3. Kumani to Rungbee Bazar.

(b) Foodstuff-—10 000 mds. approx.

1 Siliguri to Matelli

2. Matelli to Kumani
3 Kumani to Rongo.

2. (a Cinchona Bark'—1,000 mds. approx.

1. Latpanchar to Kalitar

2. Kalitar to Rungbee Bazar.

(b) Foodstuff—4.000 mds. approx.

1. Siliguri to Kalitar

2. Kalitar to Latpanchar.

3. (a) Cinchona Bark —12,000 mds. approx.

1. Siliguri to Rungbee Bazar

Tenders are also invited for a
Clearing Agent in Siliguri for one year
from April, 1952. 1 he Aggrjt shail have

to take delivery, as and when called on
to do so, of foodstuff from Civil Supply
Department or from merchants in Siliguri
and of various stores from the Siliguri
Railway Stations or the Bagdogra Airport
and store, if nacessaYy, in his godown,
these and other stores of the Cinchona
Directorate, delivered to him. All charges-
the rate of commission, the storage
char'ge, the charges of loading and un-
loading and the transport charges— hould
be quoted separately and no fresh item
of charge would be entertained in the
Bills latter.

Tile tenders must "be submitted so
as to reach the undersigned on or before
5 3-52 in separate staled covers with clear
superscriptions ‘ Tender , for Transport ”
or “Tender for Clearing Agency’’. Covers
not sealed or not superscribed as above
will be rejected.

The right is reserved to reject one
or all tenders received.

The /accepted tenderers may be
called on to deposit security money and
i liter into written contracts. Loss of
foodstuff, ovef and above allowable limits,
shall have to be compensate for at
double the purchase price.
