We have learnt with very deep
regret of the untimely demise of
Sri Saroj Kumar Jain (27) the fourth
son of our Director-in-churge Sri
Nirmal Kumar Jee Jain The sad
event took place at Arrah where

Saroj Babu wTas ailing for some
time past. Young and energetic Sri
Saroj Jain was a keen industrialist
and was in charge of several large
undertakings.

We of the Himalayan family
offer our heart felt condolence to Sri
Nirmal Kumar Jee Jain and other
members of the bereaved family and
pray to the Almighty to grant peace i
in Heaven to the departed soul. f

Kslimpong, April 12

Members of the Himalaya Kala-
Mandir Darjeeling staged a variety
performance at the Town Hall here
this evening. The Hall was full to
capacity and the performance was very-
much appreciated by the aud'eneo. The
dance hits of Sri Ranjit Ghising and
Sri Jewel Kumar showed matured grip
of the art and the dances by Baby
Usha and Babv Lila were charming
and artistic which scored well merited
applause from the audience
