Tenders are invited to reach the under-
signed on or before 23-2-53 for —

A.—Transport of foodstuff, Cinchona bark
and other stores during 19^3-54 on the fol-
lowing routes and in the approximate quan-
tites stated : \

The rates quoted must be separately
for each route and be inclusive of all

charges, e g. charges for loading, unloa-
ding, weighing and even transporting over
slips if and when necessary and no extra
charges will be admissible later. Details
should be given of Trucks and route
permits owned. - -

B.—Clearing agency at Siliguri for 1953-54.

The Agent shall have to take delivery
promptly, as and when called on to do
so. of foodstuff (total .40.000 rads, approx)
from Civil Supplies Dept or from mer-
chant's in Siliguri and of various stores
(total 15-000 mds. approx) from Siliguri
Railway Station and Bagdogra Airport,
and store temporarily, if necessary, in
his godown , these and other Stores of
the Cinchona Directorate delivered to him
for booking outward. All charges—Agency
Commission, Storage Charges, Qharges of
loading and unloading and transport
charges--?-:should 'he quoted for separately
and no fresh' item of charge, would be
entertained later.

and clearly superscribed, each with an
Earnest money of Rs.250/-, in cash or
Treasury Challan, should reach the un-
dersigned on or before 23-2-53

The selected Contractor or Agent shall
have to by due date enter into written
contracts and to furnish the requisite
Security Deposit, which will be forfeited
in case of failure to fulfil the terms of
contract and failure to give prompt and
satisfactory service. All losses of food-
stuff, over and above allowable limits,
shall have to be compensated for at
double the purchase price

The right is reserved to reject any
or all the tenders.
