SCHOOL

Kurseong, June 7
Dr. H. C. Mookerjee, Governor of
West Bengal, visited the Nepali Tamang
Buddhist Monastery and the Tibetan
Monastery at Kurseong yesterday. The
Governor arrived here accompanied by
Sm. Mookerjee on 4 days' tour in this
Subdivision. Dr. Mookerjee visited the
Goethal’s Memorial School situated at a
distance of about two miles from here
and run by the Irish Christian Brothers.
He was taken round the school premises
by the P^incial Brother Dineen.

Addressing the boys, the Governor
said that he was familiar with the work
done by the Irish Christian Brothers in
this country. He added that the name
Jesus, stood for service and even sacrifice
