out in Nepali and Knglish
by Sri I'.'G. Chettri and
Sri P. T Dong respec-
tively.

road via Peshok is closed
for through vehicular tra-
ffic due to land slides.
Transhipment is being re-
sorted to at a point hut
that too is risky due to fall-
ing boulders from the road
side hills.

The Kalimpong police
and the frontier staff at
Rungpo-frontler.Outpost at"
India Sikkim bordor have
seized fifteen.cases of Salt-
peter, used in making gun
powder, and fifty cases of
foreign paper while these
were being carried packed
in Tibetan Bharies from
Kalimpong to Tibet via
Gangtok. All these cases’
have been brought to Ka- '
linipong Police Station and
further investigation is .
' proceeding.

Ten cases Of mill made
cloths have also been seized
by the Enforcement ’Bran-
ch and these too have beon
brought to Kalimpong.
