ward IX (Kutchery Ward)
arising out. oi the vacancy
caused by the resignation

employed under the Central
Government.

The nomination papers

Vice-Chairman of Darjee-
ling Municipality at the
Municipal Council Cham-

found in order and have

Hoard presented a Guard
of honour to the Maharaj
Kumar of Sikkim for the
title of Lieut. Col. which
he received from the Indian
Government. The Maha-
raj'Kumar is the President
of the Board .since its
birth in Sikkim and under
his Presidentship many
improvements were an.)

Guard of honour lunch
was s°rved to all ex sol-
diers and pensioners and
a few local gentries in
his honour.
