AUIRVEDflC METHODS OF SMtiDKING

From prehistoric days smoking was. in use, and still it is too going on in
these days. But we don't know why smoking was used and for what purpose.
Our prehistoric Smoking was a radical cure of so many diseases. Now-a-days
if wo smoke like Aurbedic methods, it will help us in curing of so many diseases,
like Asthma, cough, cold and other lungs troubles etc. But persons below 12
and above 80 years should not smoke. Aurbedic system prescribes different
varieties of smoking which are given below. People should chooso any one of
them, according to their choice and conveniences.
■ Method No. 1. Take equal. quantity of Realgar (Menshil), orpim^t (Hartal).
Black Pepper (Golmirch), SPIKENARD (Balchharj, Sadkoki (NagarnTCt&a-) and
delil (HINGOT) Crush and mix then!
(II) Take Tobacco leaves, mixed in GINGOTIC-SYVALLOW-YVART MILK
(Milk of Mandar) and dry them.
Method No. 2. Take one and half tola of Indian hemp (Bhang, Siddhi),
one and half tola of THORN LEAVES (Dbatura-ka-pattn) Crush them and «iix
in Kalmi Soda, 'Dry in Sun,'and then mix one massa of EUCALYPTUS OIL.
Method No 3. Take Kalmi Soda, Boil in water, then wet in the Blotting
paper and dry, then that blotting, paper should be smoked.
Method No. 4. Take Realgar and plum leaves (MENSIL AND BER-ka-patta)
crush and mix in water, dry in sun.
Method No. 5: ;TaUe quarter seer ot each:—PINE (Dewdaru) HORNBEAM
LEAVEBSIDA (KHIRA1TI) SPIKENARD (Balchhar) and half Quarter seer of
Kalmi Soda, crush and mix. Dry in Sun. Then mix two m'assas of Eucalyptus
Oil and half chattak of ghee.
