Applications are invi-
ted from Citizens of India,
persons migrated from
Pakistan with the inten-
tion of permanently
settling in India und xub-
jecls oi Nepal, Sikkim or
Portuguese possessions in
India lor a few posts of
Assistant Political Officers,
Grade II, in the N.E F.
Agency, on the scale of
oay of Rs. 250-250-300-
(Conf)-25-400 ( E B )-25-
600-( E B )-25 - 750 per
mensem plus other allow-
ances admissible under
rules from time to time,
namely special pay @ 33.
1/3% of basic pay sub-
ject to a maximum of
Ks. 250/. p.m. and mini-
mum of Hs. 125/- pm.
!when posted within Tribal
Areas, clearness allowance
017J per cent on pay
(including special pay) and
cash allowance Rs. i3-8-0-
provided the pay does
not exceed Rs. 300/- per
mensem. The posts are at
present temporary, but
are likely to be made
permanent.

2 Qualification Essen-
tial:—(i) At least Degree
of a recognised Univer-
sity; (ii) About five years'
experience in administra-
tive capacity.

to Governor of Assam,
Shillong, on or before the

30th April, 1950 Candi-
dates who are already in
Government service must
submit their applications
through proper Channel.
Applications must contain

Letters, Tribe.

(c) Age on 1st. Janu
ary, 1956.

(d) Permanent Add-
ress including Police Sta-
tion.

(e) Qualifications.

(f) Proficiency in Ti
betan and Chinese lan-
guages.

(g) Present occupa-
tion, with emoluments
t hereof.

(h) Previous appoint-
ments held, if any, with
reasons for leaving them
with dates

(i) Proficiency in
Scouting, Games or Sports.

(j) Married or Single
(if more than one wife is
living the faot should be
indicated). Thi se who are
willing to take their family
to the place of posting
will be preferred.

(k) Particulars of War
