BHARAT SEVAK SAMAJ

SRI CHAKRADHARI AGARWAL

India is now in her
onward march. Great
ohanges have been taking
place and the phase of
development and progress.
also has been going on
in a rapid speed. But at
the same time, the evolu-
tionary stage of man is
not yet over. Man has
not yet reaohed the final
•tage of his life's aims
and endeavours, and com-
fort and happiness, fie is
struggling to find a way
out to reach his dm tin a-
tion. He fought vigorously
to improve his sopial
standing, he fought with
autooraoy, he fought agai-
nst monarchy, he fought
against capitalism and thus
his struggle has been
continuous as well as mul-
tifarious. In this process
there have bsen obstacles
and India faced it with
courage and determina-
tion. Several were the
problems in the past and
they were satisfactorily
solved although things
did not end with . that.

Much remains to be
done today. Great things
are happening around as.
When the world is strugg-
ling to mjet the crisis
through many interna
tional bodies, our country

is. trying to build a new
way of human approach
in order to solve the pro-
blems confronting the mil-
lions of its population.
In this, however, Govern-

are alert toHheir respon-

desire to improve the lot

der-privileged. Several so-
cial servioe organisations
have been steadfastly wor-
king to improve the eco-
nomic level of the com-
mon man. The Bharat
Sevak Samaj which has
now grown to be a na-
tional organisation is in
no way less enthusiastic
to tackle the problem in
a most serious manner
that deserved.

By creating what is
called 'Action Front' all

to mobilise people's co-

Fsnohayats. All these
programmes would be ini-
tiated by the people
through the Panohayats,
and Bharat Sevak Samaj
would assist them to im-
plement the desired objec-
tives."
