Noah seated on clouds, almost in full face, wearing a long richly
embroidered robe and a conical head-dress, supports the ark with his 1.
hand and points to it with his r. The dove with the olive-branch is
perched on the gable of the ark. Above is a scroll, inscribed noe profeta.
In the lower margin are the following eight verses:—

The ark in this design repeats almost exactly the construction of that in
one of the Picture-Chronicle drawings (fol. 7, S. C. pl. 5).
B (Broad manner). B. 1.
Noah wears a turban, instead of the simple conical head-dress of the
first set; the shape of his beard is altered : on the scroll propheta is read
for profeta ; and there are many alterations in the spelling os the verses
below the print, which now run as follows :—
