Obituary of Christ Church . . ...... 157
This Obituary has been used by various writers. Wharton, Ang.
Sac. 1. 52, prints the notices of the Archbishops, and (137 sqq.)
notices of the Priors. Dart, Antiquities of Cant., also uses it
(I think from Somner’s Excerpts). Stubbs, Memorials of
Richard I (11. 557), prints a series of other extracts. W. G. Searle,
Christ Church Canterbury (Camb. Ant. Soc.), derives many
names of monks from it.
