Ends 43 b recapitulating the contents of the books : a me
Philippo riboti magistro in sacra pagina necnon Priore
prouinciali in prouincia Catholonia existenti.. .dicta sufficiant

etc. ...per infenita sec. sec. Amen.
A colophon in red followed, but has been washed out and this
again was followed by a list of members of the order who
became bishops : in a larger hand. It ended with
Frater Joh. Bloxwych ep. Colensis.
Fr. Thomas Bradley ep. Dromorensis.
A later hand added fr. Ric. Mesyn ep. Dromorensis.
All this has been erased and a similar list written by John Bale,
headed:
Nomina quorundam episcoporum ex eadem Carmelitarum
familia. There are 27 names. The last five are
Th. Bradley ep. Dromorens.
Rob. hyrtlesham ep. Sanascopolens (?).
Jo. Bloxwych ep. holensis.
Ric. Mesyn ep. Dromorens.
Jo. Byrde ep. peficens. bangorens. et cestriens.
Isti omnes anglici erant.
f. 44 was blank : on it are some Latin verses (xvi) : on the recto
a couplet:
Hactenus eiecto saluantis dogmate Christi
Papa suas homines compulit ire vias
with the signature quod R (cut off): in the same hand as
appears in 188. On the verso more bad verses by the same.
The History of Ribot was printed at Venice 1507. This MS.
is referred to in Etudes Carmdlitain.es 1.
II. f. 45 a blank : on 45 b Liber Thome Scrope episcopi Dro-
moren. He is the same as Thomas Bradley: died 1491 and
is buried in Lowestoft Church.
