Jan. 8th. 1744- 1 P- 4^°- The letter is mounted, the right margin
having been cut with some loss of text which is supplied in pencil.
A small hole in the text is mended.

Concerning the purchase of the „2 last Nights“. (The complaint, or night
thoughts on life, death, and immortality). Very rare.
