It is this remarkable series of tomb and burial types with the vessels and other objects associated
with them which makes this cemetery one of the most remarkable archaeological problems which I have
encountered and lends importance to the objects found in it not for their intrinsic value but because
of the clear light thrown on the archaeological groups of Dyn. II-VI.
