Long rectangular pit about 225 X 80 cm. and 200 cm. deep; excavated through a small mastaba of the pit type;
the walls of the O.K. type were so broken down that the type was not ascertainable but may have been vi b
(with side chamber); axis, about 440 west of north.
Burial: destroyed.
Objects: eleven pottery vessels, in debris about 100 cm. down, thrown up by thieves:
1-3, 5-8, 10-n. Jars with bulging rounded bottoms (type VI) of RW.
4. Tall tubular bowl-stand of RW.
9. Tall slender shoulder jar of RW.

Long rectangular pit, 190 X 85 cm. and 300 cm. deep, with chamber at corner parallel to pit, 225 X95 cm. and
90 cm. high; axis, 54° west of north.
Burial: removed by plunderers.
An archaic burial, N 647, is cut through by ‘east’ side of pit.
Objects: in the debris; Nos. 1 and 2:
1. Alabaster, small collar-jar; type O.K. iv b; h. 6 cm.
2. Two small green-glazed faience amulets; photo C 4815, 3/5-6.

Long rectangular pit, 70 cm. wide and originally about 160 cm. long but southern end fallen in with roof of
chamber; with long end chamber, 70 cm. wide and originally about 180 cm. long; maximum depth at
‘north’ end, 160 cm.; height of chamber, 70-80 cm.; axis, 50° west of north.
Burial: intact skeleton, on left side with knees slightly bent, head ‘north’; in decayed wooden coffin.
