At the November Army Entrance Examination Fraustadt (U.N.)
passed fourteenth on the list. His scoring all round was very high. He
obtained First Place in German on surprisingly high marks, scoring 1789
out of a possible 2,000. We heartily congratulate him on his well-
deserved success.

Schwarz I. passed first in the Chartered Accountants Preliminary
Examination. Congratulations, Putzer, and hearty good wishes for pas-
sing first in the final, thus following the example of Harold Saffery (O.N.).

Ait the beginning of the term we had some first-rate toboganning
and ski-ing. Indeed, the weather conditions were so admirable that
Mr. Hill gave us a "Toboganning Frei" on the 13th February.

After breakfast, we, one and all, repaired to the famous Königstuhl
run where some excellent sport was indulged in. The run was in beauti-
ful condition. At one o'clock we betook ourselves to the Kohlhof Hotel
for lunch, and sat down to an excellent repast, to which, with appetites
sharpened by the keen mountain air, we did ample justice. After lunch,
our merry party again scattered itself over the various runs in the vicinity
where we indulged in the exhilarating sport to the full till the approach of
darkness put an end to our " revels." We then returned to the College
for supper, having spent one of the most enjoyable " Fries " we have had
for many a day.
