Translation.
I.
1. The Lord L.P.H. for the provisioning.......
2. All [people] of the place in which I am and all
people of the land. Now Penhuiban being
superintendent of the cattle said to him: "Bring
me a book which will tell me how to perform
feats of cunning and strength."
8. Then he gave to him a book of magical receipts
from the library (?) of Ra-user-maat Mery Amen
(Ramses III) L.P.H. the great god Iris lord
L.P.H. whereby he could strike blind the people
and reach the innermost recesses
4. of the harem and other secret places. [By one
of its receipts] he made figures of wax and love
charms and these he had carried to the interior
in the hand of an officer named Adi-ra-ma.
5. So that one of the workmen might be removed
and the others bewitched and that thereby
certain words might be taken to the interior
chamber and bring others to the outside. Now
they were examining him about it
6. it was found to be true and all that he had
done in his heart was abominable and bad.
The truth of it was that he made these things
together with
7. the other great criminals whom all and every
god and goddess abominate. They pronounced
upon him the great judgment of death decreed
by the gods.
