in his Fades p. 180 no. 118 understood BET on a coin of Hyrkanoi in
Lydia about a. d. 115 as standing for Vettius, and he recognizes that
OYET would be the rendering at that period '. In the third century we
have BHTA on coins for Vota, BIBIOC, BAA6PIANOC see no. 517 and
JRev. Nvmism. 1891 pp. 37, 244, Bevovoros Br. Mus. no. 635.
