Tablet from Sûkaa to Rêl-zêr-ibnî, ray father. May Bel and Nebo bespeak peace
and life (to) m y father. Behold., I am going without the ass — give the ass to Samas-
êtir, and let him send [it]. Give him (also) m y clothes.

Bugudati in line 11 is possibly the plural of a word meaning " clothes the
Heb. which lias a féminine plural in Ps. xlv, 9. Nevertheless a meaning derived
from ips is not impossible.

Innassu, in line 12, is for idnassu, " give him ", with vowel-ending a, from the
common verb nadânu, " to give ".
