Of the Affinity of Optical Laws with the Principles of P erfpeAlive.
In Section I. page 183, it has been fhown that all objects
appear proportionably lefs as they are farther removed from
the eye; and as the reader is now fuppofed to be acquainted
with the planes, lines, points, and terms, which have been ex-
plained in the preceding fedtion, I fhall proceed to fhow that,
the rules of perfpedtive agree with optical laws»
