832. Portrait of a Gentleman, of a thin countenance, denoting
him to have been about thirty years of age ; he has a small tuft
of beard, long mustacheos, and a bushy head of hair. The
body is wholly enveloped in a black mantle, which conceals the
greatest part of a lace collar. The left hand, wearing a richly-
embroidered glove, is in a position indicating that the individual
is addressing some person ; and his sword hilt is seen below the
band.
