Voici deux vases en partie peints il l'huile et dorés qui nomment
'eur auteur. — Le vase de gauche est signé sur la panse : Bar.
'erchi.— Celui de droite est signé : Bar. Terchi Romano. Les
Su)ets peints sont des soldats romains et des esclaves em-
')artiuant des provisions et les mômes personnages emportant
6ttr» provisions, dans leurs barques. — Toutes les parties en
r°lief sont dorées. — Les moulures, les parties non émaillées et
tout ce qui n'est pas en relief, sont peints à l'huile d'une cou-
le«* vert-olive.

the name of tlie artists who executed them.
The left onc : Bar. Terchi.
The other : Bar. Terchi Romano.
The painted compositions represent Roman soldiers and
slaves loading aship with stores, and the same canying away
the said stores in boats.
Ail the reliefs are gilt — the mouldings, the unenanielleJ
parts and ail the fiât surfaces are painted olive green.
