1.'aspect de celle tenture est vraiment décoratif cl l'on aime à se
figurer une grande salle du quinzième siècle aux murs ainsi revêtus el
parés. — Le rendu semble un souvenir des peintures murales aux
contours vigoureux, au modelé plat des siècles précédents, et les
bonnes traditions y sont habilement conservées.
