Ces plombs historiés ont été presque tous trouvés dans la
Seine. Ceux que nous donnons, indépendamment de leur forme
ajourée, présentent pour la plupart des fleurs de lis du temps,
des écussons couronnés et accompagnés de palmes, etc. Les
trois figures du bas montrent des encriers en forme de hottes.

Thcso ornamented loads hâve nearly ail heen found in the
Seine_. Those tve show, besides the openwork, are decorated the
greater number of them with fleurs de lys of the lime, cscut-
cheons with their crowns and palms. The three lower figures
represent inkstands in the shape of baskets.
