La figure 5249, composée de trois personnages, laisse voir,
au centre, un jeune héros assis sur un siège, armé d’un bâton
et la tête couronnée. A droite, une déesse, casque en mains,
s’appuie sur un large bouclier. De l’autre côté, une figure d’IIébé
paraît tenir un vase et un plat. Dans la scène 5250, le dessin
paraît représenter Hésiode. Ces peintures sont d’un très beau
stylé et d’un dessin très correct.

tre, a young hero seated in a chair, holding a wand and the
head crowned with laurel ; on the right, a goddess leaning on a
shield and bearing an helmet in her hand. Opposite to her
stands llebe holding a vase and a dish.
Fig. 5250 appears to represent Ilesiodes.
These paintings are in a very fine style and the drawing
remarkably correct.
