SELINTY—ANAMOUR.
A few miles from the last mentioned
ruins, the rocky coast opens into a culti-
vated plain, extending five or six miles
each way, and crossed by two small ri-
vers. The first of these enters the sea at
the foot of some red cliffs, on which were
several buildings: the operations of the
survey did not lead us there; but we
could perceive that they were wholly
tenanted by eagles and wild pigeons.
