Deep conical shape with slightly curved walls and very
small flattened base. On one side is a flat loop handle; the
hp on the other side is broken away, and has been restored,
very roughly made, of coarse clay fired grey and red.

A shallow curved bowl, with offset lip and perhaps two large round loop
handles with projecting ends set horizontally on the shoulder: only one handle
is preserved. Yellowish brown clay, scraped and polished ; coarsely made ware.

Hemispherical body with flat base and offset rim, with a
flat loop handle, now lost, set vertically on each side. Grey-
brown clay roughly moulded, with irregular but smooth surface
which is partly blackened. (Fig. 33.)
[Similar vases (as Ai/Ziji/i na\ Se'o-xXo, figs. 48, 49) were found in tombs at Seshlq with
Minyan ware. They are probably rough pieces of 1V1 inyan fabric or local imitations. See A 82,
etc., from Macedonia.]

As last, but with slightly hollow base ; more smoothly made and of darker
colour. There is a hollow where a round handle has been broken out, and
almost at right angles to this, the base of a false spout set midway down the

A false spout as in the preceding
(broken) example. Hollow open shape,
spreading towards the end, with lip slightly
turned in at the sides. The spout has
been broken out of the wall of the vase,
the inner surface of which is still attached.
