The ąuality of these paintings varies in particular parts of the compositions;
two hands can be distinguished at work in them: one painter initially prepared
the composition for the painting, while a second, significantly superior, finished
the pictures. The weakest part of the paintings is the farthest background;
reminiscent in its construction of the planes and the dryness of brush of the
painting by Francesco Albotto, the better parts are the textured, impastoed
