i. Ornament. Disk. Gold. Diameter i %e inch. Found at Kition.
Disk with an eight-leaved rosette in raised work. Probably intended as an ornament for
a garment. Collection contains four specimens.

2. Disk. Gold. Diameter i/A inch. Found at Dali.

A thin sheet of stamped metal showing three erect figures with myrtle leaf ornament above.
Rope border about edge. Collection contains two specimens.

3, 4. Stopper-Covers. Gold. Length (respectively) i3/s and 1^ inch. Diameters
(tops) 1Y16 and 15Ae inch; (points) Tie and 3/$ inch. Found inserted in glass bottles in tombs at
Amathus.

Intended to protect the ends of glass bottle stoppers. Collection contains four specimens.
(See intact specimen, Plate LXXV, No. 4.)

5. Disk. Gold. Diameter 3^ inch. Found at Dali.

Thin sheet of stamped metal showing serpents, scorpions, animals, etc. Two rings on the
back for fastening.

6. Ornament. Gold. Diameter \l/% inch. Found at Kition.
Mate of No. 1.

7. Necklace. Gold and agate. Found in a vault at Curium.

Consists of fifteen pieces (seven agate and eight gold), representing tortoises. Agate nicely
cut and polished. Four of the gold pieces are similar to the agate, and true to the shape of the
original. Five are in low relief on a plate of gold (unfinished?). Sizes i/s to yi inch long.

8. Ornament, in human shape. Gold. Length i3/i6 inch. Found at Dali (Idalium).
The collection contains five specimens. Each has two metal loops (at shoulders and knees)

for fastening as amulet or bead. Figure erect. Wig indicated by stipple marks; ears distinct;
hands crossed just below chin ; elbows close to sides ; shoulders covered with a garment that parts
