engraved with erect female with long flowing garments; left hand extended, right hand holds a
curved object (cornucopia?). Head ornament has two projections like horns.

13. Seal, Swivel. Gold and sard. Diameter 7/s inch. Chaton "/igx^ inch.

Band shows double braided pattern. Sides of chaton decorated with scrolls and spirals in
S-pattern. Seal shows nude male figure with a cord (?) in right hand and with the left grasping
the hair of a crouched nude female figure, whose arm is raised to ward off the attack. See Ces-

14. Seal. Gold and carnelian. Diameter 15/ig inch. Stone 10/32X7/i6 inch.

Plain gold band; joined to chaton like a swivel seal. Sides of chaton are decorated in
two bands: outer, showing a row of globules arranged in pyramidal or cluster pattern ; inner, a
continuous S-spiral. Stone engraved to show upright archer, bow in left hand, and pelt hanging
over his arm. Right hand behind head; arrow just released and leaving the bow. Hercules,

15. Seal. Gold and sard. Diameter 1 inch. Chaton yjjx7/iG inch.

The band of gold tapers, and is so fastened to chaton as to resemble a swivel seal. The
ornamentation on the sides is made up of coiled spirals. Seal shows an erect figure, winged.
Garment to ankles, and folds of peplos on right arm. Right hand holds flower to face after the
