Plate XXXV.

i. Cup or bowl. Silver. Dark grey and black. Height 2l/% inches; diameter (base),
1/% inch, (top) 4 Vie inches. Found at Curium.

Almost hemispherical in shape, but slightly constricted into a fluted band just below the lip
which flares slightly outward. A row of birds is incised somewhat rudely in the fluted band. The
lower part of the bowl is of rosette pattern of petal-like flutings in low relief. Small flat base un-
derneath.

2. Cup or bowl. Silver. Green and grey tints. Height 2l/% inches; diameter (base) i9/i6
inches, (top) 411/io inches. Found at Curium.

Shaped like inverted truncated cone, with short cylindrical base. Sides show no visible
curve. Surface corroded.

3. Bowl. Silver. Grey and dark tints. Height 2^4 inches; diameter (top) 454 inches.
Found at Curium.

Hemispherical, without distinct base. Sides curve continuously from lip to lip around
bottom.

4. Cup. Silver. Grey. Height 2>lfi> inches; diameter (top) 4^ inches. Found at
Curium.

Bottom rounding; sides swell gradually to lips which flare slightly outward. Base is a
very small flattened surface.

5. Cup. Silver. Grey and greenish tints. Height 3 inches; diameter (top) 4^ inches.
Found at Curium.

Similar to the foregoing except the lips do not flare quite as much and some portions of the
edge are gone.
