Objects in Rock Crystal. Found in a vault at Curium.

i. Vase. Height (total) 4^ inches. Diameter (greatest) 29/io inches. Neck % inch.
Mouth ii/s inch.

The bottom is a flat curve, which quickly reaches the greatest diameter of the vessel near
the base. Thence the sides contract gracefully to a shoulder just below the base of the neck.
The neck is conical, flaring slightly, and extends to perforated ears to receive the handle. Clear
on one side; opaque on the other.

2. Vase. Height 3'/$ inches. Diameter (greatest) 2^ inches. Neck 3/g inch. Mouth
7/s inch.

Ovoid body, with cylindrical neck, which extends into two perforated ears to receive
handle.

3. Seal ring. Height (face to rear) 1% inch. Diameter of fingerhole, 3^ inch. Bezel,
2x1 % inch.

Massive in form and size. Seal uncut. Transparent, slightly incrusted.

4. Bottle and cover. Smoked rock crystal and gold. Height (total) 6 inches. Diameter
(largest) 1*946 inch. Mouth 1% mch- Stopper, length il/2 inch. Gold top, diameter 11/% inch.
Chain and ring, length 4 inches.

Bottom round; sides contract gently to the neck, which flares to the lip. Two handles,
shaped like halves of a conventional heart. Stopper joined to bottle by a split ring and a fish-bone
chain: consists of a hollow gold cone to fit mouth of bottle, and a flat glass disk, covered with
ornamental gold cap in filigree work, constituting a ring about the edge with a double rope or
guilloche ornamentation, and three lotus flower patterns in beaded bands forming an outline only.

5. Seal, unengraved. Length % inch. Width i/% inch. Thickness 7/ig inch.
Oval in shape, apparently intended to be set in a ring.
