A conventional tree with a seated animal (?) beneath same on each side, flanked by erect
human figures. Opposed is a complex formed of a four-branched rectangular cross having a ball
at each end; a bull's head in the middle, and a treble cross below. These last two may belong
together and represent a scorpion ( ? ).

At left a seated figure with one arm raised; below him a tall table with long thin stem and
heavy cylindrical base. Beyond is a crooked object resembling an erect serpent, with a star
above. At right an erect man with a star and another crooked object behind him.
13. Cypriote Seal. Black serpentine. Length 2%2 inch. Diameter X1/s2 inch. From
Amathus.
An amphora-shaped object with an ibex on either side, and a sun and disk with rays above.
A tree above back of each ibex; between them, behind, a short object resembling a barbed spear.
14. Cypriote Seal. Grey serpentine. Length 7/$ inch. Diameter 13/32 inch. From
Curium.
Conventional tree, flanked on each side by a man with long garment and double belt.
Opposed to tree are a dog (above) and ibex (below), both standing. The cylinder has a
depressed groove near each end, not shown in the impression.

At right a conventional tree. A man with arms raised above his head faces a T-shaped
table with a tall conical loaf (?) on it. The space above is filled by a crossed Y which resembles
